Patrons Modern and Contemporary African Arts (MCAA), a full-fledged arts-focused organisation, has concluded plans to hold its sixth miniature exhibition in Lagos this month.

Speaking during the announcement of the upcoming small & Iconic miniature exhibition billed to take place between September 30 and October 15.

As the world continues to shift and embrace diverse cultural expressions, the Nigerian art industry seems to be struggling in comparison. However, Patrons MCAA, an art advisory and dealership company in Nigeria is taking action to turn the tide.

While announcing an upcoming miniature art exhibition known as small and iconic scheduled between March 24 and 26, Ovio said Nigeria is among the biggest arts markets in Africa, but several aspects of the industry will only require support to manifest.

Keturah Ovio, a director of Patrons Modern & Contemporary African Art, an art advisory and dealership firm, says Nigerians are in the forefront of the African art market which is estimated at $13 billion.
